Drake Releases Long-Awaited ‘Certified Lover Boy,’ With Imaginative ‘Way 2 Sexy’ Music Video
Fans of the Toronto-born singer had been waiting almost a year and a half since he unveiled the album artwork — a colorful grid of 12 pregnant woman emojis created by British artist Damien Hirst — and revealed the official release date after subtly teasing it on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”
Future, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Giveon, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Tems, Ty Dolla $ign, Project Pat, and Yebba – some of the artists included on the 21-track masterpiece — were unveiled via a huge billboard campaign that hit their hometowns throughout the week.
Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross, all frequent collaborators, also feature on “Certified Lover Boy.”
“Champagne Poetry,” the album’s first track, samples the Beatles’ “Michelle,” while “TSU” samples the beginning of R. Kelly’s 1998 song “Half on a Baby.”
The Grammy Award-winning artist (also known as Champagne Papi and Drizzy) initially teased the new album last summer with the song “Laugh Now Cry Later,” which featured Lil Durk, and then hinted at a full-length album release in January 2021.
“Certified Lover Boy” is his first studio album since “Scorpion” in 2018.
The “Way 2 Sexy” (with Young Thug and Future) music video was released early Friday afternoon.
The over-the-top video, directed by Dave Meyers, is a jaw-dropping, eye-popping visual frenzy of playful animation and beautiful recreations of pop culture touchstones that many find attractive.
Drake returns to his roots as an actor in “Way 2 Sexy,” which opens with him reciting the refrain from Right Said Fred’s 1992 earworm “I’m Too Sexy.” The former “Degrassi: The Next Generation” star plays a 1980s workout video instructor, a bare-bellied beachcomber well past his prime, and even a swashbuckling romance novel protagonist.

Paris Hilton Plans To Have A Grand Three-Day Wedding Ceremony
Paris Hilton is all set to have a spectacular wedding.
On Tuesday, the 40-year-old entrepreneur went on The Tonight Show and revealed a few facts about her upcoming wedding. Hilton, engaged to Carter Reum, told host Jimmy Fallon that the wedding planning process has been “very stressful” and that picking a wedding gown is “basically the only thing” she’s done so far.
She said that “It’s gonna be like a three-day affair. We have a lot happening,” further stating that she’s “not a bridezilla at all.”
“Lots of dresses, probably 10. I love outfit changes,” she added, joking that Reum, 40, would most likely stick to one outfit since “he’s not as high-maintenance as I am.”
The wedding will also be recorded as part of Hilton’s upcoming Peacock docuseries, Paris in Love.
“I just feel like for my documentary, This Is Paris, it ended in a way in which, you know, it was amazing but I just feel like I wanted my fans to see that I found my Prince Charming and my happy fairytale ending,” the socialite explained.
After a year of dating, Reum proposed to Hilton on February 13th. On a private island, the couple was celebrating Hilton’s 40th birthday when the author proposed with a mega-carat, emerald-cut diamond ring created by designer Jean Dousset, the great-great-grandson of renowned French jeweler Louis Cartier.
“When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it,” Hilton captioned her engagement photos on Instagram.
“My love and I have been together since our first date and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.”
Paris Hilton is excited to start a family with Reum, in addition to looking forward to her wedding day. The actress addressed rumors she was pregnant in a recent This Is Paris podcast episode titled ‘This Is… I’m Pregnant??’
“I am not pregnant.” She said, “Not yet.” “My [wedding] dress is being made right now, so I want to make sure it looks gorgeous and fits perfectly. So definitely waiting for that part.”
“I can’t wait to have children in 2022. But like I said, I am just preparing for the wedding right now.”
